Default 5.0L cammer engine

i've been seeing this motor online a lot and have been thinking about it for my car. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what kind of HP this motor will put to the wheels with headers and a few bolt ons.

I'd tell ya butI can't remember what the cammer puts out. But I will tell you it's a lot cheaper just to build up your current motor and/or throw a supercharger on that, you'd have a lot more power than the 5.0 cammer

That engine retails new at just under $15,000. That's alot of cash and that doesn't include the computer.

i love it just for the fact it's not 4.6, it's 5.0, but if you're gonna go bigger displacement, for that kind of money I'd just want the 5.4

Yeah it would be cheaper to build up that exact same motor than it would be to buy it. Ford likes to rape everyone on prices for anything

Yeah! you are right on that. My a/c vents on each side of the dash fell apart & Ford wanted $48.00ea. I got `em off Ebay for $5.00ea. + shipping

That's probably one of the most over priced motors I've ever seen!
