Default MM strut tower brace no fitting!

So, once i got my blower installed i had to remove my stock stb due to the discharge tube getting in the way and not allowing it to bolt down to how it was. So for x mas, my girl friend got me the MM strut tower brace that is supposed to clear aftermarket intake setups and all. So, i go to put it on and it is about 3" off. The tube is clearly not going to let it go down. Anybody ever done an aftermarket stb on a blower setup?

Look into a 96 to 98 Cobra STB . It should give you the clearance that you need.

If you bought it fromStang Susoension, you have 30 days to return it for a full refund whether it has been used or not. Not to sure if they will refund your shipping, but MM prob would once it has been returned. I bought an upper control arm tool that removes the bushings from there. Used it and then returned it for a full refund. It was all stripped out and sh.t too. It was like gheting a loaner tool!..lol
