RE: cracked head?
ok well.... Im going to go ahead and say my car.... isnt.... smoking
I hope its a gasket if anything though... I work at a shop so Im not too worried about install... just a gasket is alot cheaper than a head haha.
I have the aluminum intake manifold.
so far it hasnt filled back up.

correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure, unless it has something to do what color your anti-freeze is.

damn, whats a sure way to tell if your head is cracked or not? If it is a head gasket are there any "stop-leak" substances to put in your radiator to fix it?

Pressure check the cooling system cold and see where you get a coolant leak from. Stop leaks are at best a band-aid over a gunshot wound IMO.

White smoke will come from a cracked block or head gasket, it is the steam or vapor created by coolant/water mix leaking into where it shouldn't wether it be from a cracked block into the cylinder or by a head gasket.

I have no cats and catback exaust... I do "see" white smoke... but only when its cold out. I assume thats normal though?
