BAD ENGINE PROBLEM??? Uknown Problem
a few days ago, someone hit the front of the bumper so I m ordering a new one for the front. Mustang ran fine. Today my girlfriend and I were driving and the exhaust on the mustang sounded like someone put a item into the exhaust (pipes being blocked). its not as loud as it should be even in high rpms. and theres a rattling noise coming from the front of the car. Sounds like its coming from the top of the heads (Right Head cyclinder)but not sure if it was due to the hit? (5 mph hit - was nothing). When its idleing its fine, but the rattling got worse. 25,000 miles on a 2003 GT thats babed - Wow. I bought the extended warrenty when I bought the car used in July. Any suggestions??? or what the hell it could be???

could be clogged cats. Take a wrench or something and tap on the cats to see if thats where the rattle is coming from. Alsodid you notice if the exhaust smells any different?
