Just Got A Predator...
Hey I just installed the diablo tune into my stang and love how much smoother and quicker I get through the powerband. I'll be putting 4.10s on in a couple weeks and I can't wait to feel the difference with them installed. However, I was wondering what would be the benefit/point to messing with these parameters: rev limiter, idle rpm, and cooling fan. I didn't mess with those yet cause I really didn't know what I'd get out of it. If anyone could shed some light on this I'd appreciate it.

Sweet man, congrats on the purchase, I'll be getting mine after vacation. Are you using premium fuel now?

I thought it was 93 too but I've been told 91 works fine. All I've seen here in KC is 91. You can only up the timing with the predator to 12 deg, but if you went to 14 like with a timing adjuster then you'd need 93 I believe. So how about those parameters I was asking about?

you dont need to touch your rev limiter, mine was upper about 50rpms so I could shift right at 6k and not come close to hitting the limiter (to make full use of the cams). dont mess with your idle at all, and I wouldnt mess with the cooling fan either

I would advance your timing to the max with the parameters, it makes a big dif, run 93 octane, dont mess with A/F without a meter and dyno.
