I see they have come down substantially in price. No they SUCK!!! You will actualy lose some power about 21-2600rpms before you even start to see any gain. The big gain on the Typhoons and P-51's are above 5krpms. Although the P-51 is just an all around better intake.
I wouldn't reccomend wasting your money. The claimed 21hp is on highly modified s/c'ed cars. N/A will not benefit

I have that intake manifold and I don't have any complaints. I did not notice any gains at all, and doubt there were any. Only reason I got it was because the stock one cracked and I didn't want to have to worry about that happening again. The intake seemed like a good piece, bolted right up with no issues, but I wouldn't recommend it as a mod.

ive even heard of people losing HP on blown cars with the typhoon. only reason to get it is with F/I to prevent any possibility of cracking.

Ok, why is everybody hating on the Typhoon manifold? I saw one been installed on a 02 GT and after tuning it with a predator, it gained 42rwhp, no joke I was there and saw it myself. Besides, the company itself says that you will not see 21hp gains with stock cams, you would have to buy bigger cams in orders to produce 18-21rwhp with the typhoon. So, YES you won't see much gains if your stock or with basic bolt on's.

awhile back MM&FF did a test on it and got 7hp on a basically stock motor with only a exhaust on it. So it cant be that bad. Still cheaper than the trickflow one and you dont have to do any bull**** splicing or moving parts around.

Yeah, N/A. The guy that worked on the car and tunned it was Hirahm Diaz from here in PR. He's very well knowed over here on his work with Stang's. He even was featured in MM&FF 7 to 9 months ago (can't remember exactly), for his work on a 03 cobra which he tunned an became a 10 sec. car. He's going to do my PI swap next week, with Ported PI heads, 274h comp cams, and the highly questionable Typhoon Intake.
So lets see what happens

either that car was in desperate need of a tune to begin with or the tuner was messing with the dyno to show those numbers. Anyways you forgot to tell us how much hp it LOST throughout the curve. Please post a grap if you have one of said dyno run? Also how much hp did it make?
