What year Cobra's are you talking about? Mach 1's go from anything 16-25,000. Where you could get an '03 Cobra for around $25,000 or an '01 for around $15,000. Or geez you could even get a '97 for under $12,000.

mach 1's are going from 14.5k- 21k
03 cobra for hig mile 19k-low mile 25k
99-01 cobra no more than 13k stock
96-98 no more than 10k
miles change the price.

theres no way you guys are serious about 25 grand for a mach1 thats 5 years old now unless its not your run of the mill mach1 and its had a LOT of money put into it.
i donno about 99-01 cobras bieng no more than 13k. i wouldnt pay much more than that but i doubt you will find one for that price that doesnt have 6 digits worth of mileage on it.
to answer your question tho the mach will be faster in a 1/4. IRS = wheel hop and the cobra wieghs more than the mach. both have the same motor so they got the same HP.

i saw a mach 1 wiht 15kmiles for 30grand
and a local dealer has a 97 GT vert for high $7s he told me

The99-01 SVT and Machare pretty close. The 305hp rating that was posted above is incorrect. The 2003 Machs were rated at 305, then 310 in 04. Both the 03-04 are exactly the same mechanically. A few cosmetic differences only. Motortrend found that the Machs have 325hp crank. Go with what you can afford man. Both are excellent choices.

im going today to look for a new car haha if i find somethign i like i will consider it, at this point if i find a 99+ GT i will get that but if i can find a 99+cobra for a few grand more i will prolly get that haha
