Throttle Body and Plenum?

Throttle Body and Plenum?

If I install an aftermarket throttle body and/or plenum, can I just bolt in on and take off or will I need to get a tune after I do it? Or can it be done either way? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As long as you disconnect your battery while doing the install and let the car idle for like 10 minutes then got for a drive your ECU will learn the new TB/Plenum.

Thanks for your reply OzzDOA. Do you think the overall power gain from a new TB/Plenum is worth the money? I only ask because I see you have them installed.

i gained 8rwhp from a tbody/plenum and a dyo tune.

A dyno tune is not necessary, but will maximize your gains with the new setup. Everything will just bolt right on in place of the stockers. I got my tb/plenum for $200, so yeah, I think it was worth it. I wouldn't recommend spending the $400+ on Accufab unless you are dead set on appearance mods.
