get a vortech, or a non self containted procharger unit if you want to be as fast as possible on your stock block and expect to last a little while, if you want it to last a long time and make good power and just be a fun street car get the saleen whipple serieves IV or the kB, but they wont havemuch upgrade potential

Your right, depends on what you want to do with it and in most cases what you can afford. I just like the idea that Im not in boost all the time and can actually maintain a descent MPG when just crusing or taking a road trip.

KB or Procharger, take the saleen out of the equation. You will be dissapointed compared to the other two. As far as KB vs. Procharger....Its a toss up. It really depends on the plan for your car.

Thanks for all the replies so far guys. my plans are just bolt on maybe a set of cams and a torque converter some day. not building no engines i just wants something that could run in the mid 12's then i would be happy. i am running 14.0 now meanwhile my good friend in his chev cav z22 is running low 12's. not good passes me on the highway for fun, twin turbo set up with a 3.4l drop in motor from a minivan.
