I think that 4.10's are an all around good gear for auto or a manual

This cracks me up! Just the other day a post was written for posts being put in the right place. I can see this one getting deleted or put in NON TECH very shortly. If it does get deleted look back at 1 of the 1000 posts that are exactly the same as this one and you'll get your answer there.

jared, you can find them on most of the sponsors pages. however when i asked the shop i was going to have do it he recommended the Motive brand over Ford Racing. i know a lot of people here will probably cry about me making that statement... but for one he gets Motive cheaper than we can as he is a dealer & two he was willing to warranty them. i also asked what parts rebuilding-wise i would need. he said we will replace what needs replacing... saved some money since my car is not that old. ended up being 350 out the door with a new cover since i dinged the old one up when i got a little crazy with the jack one night. so unless you are planning on setting your own rear end... check with a local shop to see what it would be for them to do it all.

btw... some have said motive gears are loud from what i found searching prior to buying. no noise from mine... or at least no noise over the exhaust.

4.10's
you'd wish you'd gone steeper with 3.73's
