Default 03 GT to 03-04 Cobra

Hey Quick question im doing a Cobra conversion on my 2003 Mustang GT. Now i know i need to replace the :
Engine
Trans.
engine bay wiring harness
ECM
im also changing the Rear all the supension, and anything elese i possibly can. My question is do i have to change the wiring harness inside the dash?
I did a conversion on a fox body from a 4 cyl to a GT but in this case im not sure if the GT wiring harness in the dash will hook up to the cobra wiring in the engine bay.
Thanks ron

Im sure that you dont want to hear this but buy a cobra, I'm really not trying to be an *** but unless you have all of this stuff just lying around it just would not be very cost effective.

+1

it will cost alot of money. most cobra motors run $6K+ used with decent miles then another $2-4K on tranny, computer and other various parts..save that money for a down payment it will be cheaper in the long run..not trying to be a d*** but it will save you time, trouble, and alot of money

if you still decide to do it keep your rear end..IRS isnt all that great unless your doin autocross or something like that

expect to pay around 9k for motor and tranny alone, but in the end it comes out to not being cost effective

to do the FULL conversion youll prob end up spending thosands of dollars over the price of a cobra. endless stuff to buy.
