GT03 you say the strokers for 4.6 arent worth it?
im going through a build up now,the heads right now, and my plan is to bore and stroke the bottom end.my head set up is full port and polish,VT stage 2 cams, bigger manley valves and new springs. ive already got off an off road x pipe and plan on throwing on long tubes. your saying without nitrous i cant hit 350rwhp with the bottom end built too?
i think a stroker kit is probably worth it. you won't see the same kind of gains that you would from older pushrod engines, but i think the biggest gain you'll see is an increase in torque from the longer stroke. with all those parts you just listed, i'm pretty sure you'll hit 350.

perfect.thats what i really am looking for. more torque down low if i can hit 350 at the wheels with that im happy as can be. throw some nitrous at it when i go to the thrack and with a forged lower end i could hold alot of it. i just wanna stay NA and sound good lol.

hey do you have a link for a place where i can look at the VT cams? i tried a google search but just came up with a bunch of forum threads about the cams and no vendors that sell them (maybe i'm not looking hard enough). i looked up some youtube videos of Mustangs with those VT cams and they sound NICE (the idle reminds me of my old circle track car). and yeah, if you're wanting to hit it with some nitrous when you go to the track, definitely go with forged internals... you wouldn't wanna have to rebuild that engine after a couple track days.

http://www.cushmanmotorsports.com/ thats what VT is now.i think john cushman is 10inchterror on here. those cams are definatly the best sounding ive heard.so aggresive and downright mean sounding. on the npi motor theyll love the compression. should be a fun summer![sm=badbadbad.gif]
