Big mods = Cobra

If not, I would just go for the Mach. From a dig, Mach's actually have a slight chance against a termi stock for stock (SRA and less weight) but rolling the termi will win without a doubt. You will probably be happy with either one. Mod for mod, the termi gains more, but you aren't into modding so it wouldn't matter. Just get whichever you like.

Well it depends, jap cars last longer if you baby them , American cars last longer floggin them, The cobra head tick and head problems are concerning me in a 4v swap... but hey what can you do. The 4.6 2v is one of the most reliable and rugged engines ever made, but for power the 4v is what you need, I think most of the 4v engine problems come from people who abuse their cars (and their is a difference between beating on a car a little bit and abusing it).

If your not gonna mod it then get a Mach 1 and leave the cobras to the guys that will mod it to its full potential. A stock 03-04 cobra is slow (compared to what it was built for) and is that way so it will last over 100k miles. **** tune, weak cams, weak supercharger all to make the engine last longer.
Hmp! That's the first time I ever read a SC Cobra being slow.

Cobras/03+ will last if they are maintained and the hrspwr kept to 500-600rw. If you are gonna get the mach, it will also last and can run 11's will cams, full exhaust, gears, suspension and DR's. I would personally get the 03+ cobra or atleast forge the bottom end of the mach if I was gonna boost it. 100K is nothing for either car, but Im sure some nuisance parts will give up sooner or later...water pump, alt., suspension parts, air condition and maybe even a gasket or two. Think about the New York cabbies that put hard/long miles on their modular engines, some 150K+ on the stock longblock/trans.
