bringing this back from the dead. but it is what i was wondering.
dyno tune will need a chip with 2 tunes on it correct to switch over? for dd and for the nitrous or else he will be running with a nitrous tune for his dd. wouldnt seem to efficient. and taht means selling the tuner? correct
Yes, a custom tune will need a tune for n/a, and for nitrous to run at it's best. At that point you can sell your hand held tuner.
not using a diablo sport you can't.
speaking of that anyone know how much the diablo tune adds to timing?
i wanted to run a 75 shot but wasnt sure if ide need to put the stock tune back on.
110 leaded+100 shot on a premium fuel tune works for me , but i dont race on the street so i have to comfort of switching tunes and datalog to further hone in a better tune. take time but it works. or just take it in and get what u want and switch as needed. no problems with 110 octane leaded yet, but i shouldnt have any for a while if im only able to go to the track once or twice a month.
Guys... my "custom" nitrous tune is just the stock tune. My N/A is what is custom agressive dyno tune.
Hmmmmmm..................you said you had a custom nitrous tune from Houston Performance on Modular Fords. Now you change your story after I said the STOCK FORD TUNE will be fine on a 100 shot! You can't keep your lies straight can you little man?
