for some strange reason i thought turning t/o was bad for gas?
I haven't heard that one before.. it wouldnt' surprise me, but if it does lower the MPG I wouldn't guess it'd be by much..

maybe if you accel hard enough everytime to the point where it would kick in if it were active.... thus using more gas.... i dunno

the traction control cuts the engine power in half.. so i dont think it would use more gas...

heh...why not keep traction control. suppose u get caught in rain or that one pesky snow storm that may sneak up on you faster than you thought. I've gotten caught with a snow storm and was thankful traction control, even though it wasnt the best performing system...

you can re enable it but with the tuner on hand..
I wouldn't try messing with the wiring, or faking out the system..Your car won't drive if you screw up; the ECM needs a signal from the traction control switch at all times.. wether it be on or off.
if you take out the switch or screw with the wrong wiring, the car wont move..very far.

I was about to disable my t/c but found out from Brenspeed that if you do it, you can not reinstall it. I know that it's a headache to push the t/c button on and off but if I were you, I would leave it on your car.
