Default Hig rpm vibration

aside from the mounts what could cause my engine/tranny to vibrate at high rpm's? I'm not sure which one is causing the vibrations but I feel it in the shifter and you can hear the shifter vibrating when my hand isn't on it. This started happening one day when I was driving aggressively and I shifted into third and ever since then the vibrations occurred tranny maybe? I haven't had a chance to check the mounts but I wanted a broader spectrum of possibilities. thanks!

Pull the shifter boot off and make sure the shifter bolts are tight. Mine had a habit of loosening no matter how I put them on. Otherwise, look at your engine mounts. Does the engine/transmission work properly?

I had a RPM vibration that turned out to be my driveshaft bolts where loose. Another Vibration was cause by one of my tires breaking a belt.

If that dosen't work, check your U joints. Sounds like a similar problem my buddy had it was fixed after replacing it.
