I'm assuming you have an after market high flow filter. To clean the air filter that came with the Procharger I bought a K&N cleaning kit and followed the instructions.

its the one that came with bbk, but it is blue. I didn't know if it was safe to use KN cleaner on a filter thats not K&N.

If i just wanted to replace, bbk air filter with a K&N witch one should i buy.

idk if it works for car filters...but i always cleaned my air filter on my dirt bike by just putting it in a bucket of hot soapy water and washing it by hand...then i put it in one with clean water and let it soak and then got it nice and cleaned out, soap and dirt free then let it dry...i have cleaned my air filter since i bought the car last summer...i should probably do that....i have the bbk cai, do i have to take the wheel off to get to it?

I have a k&n, and I use the k&n recharge kit. you spray it with the cleaning stuff, then you rinse it with water, and then you spray the filter oil. according to k&n, if you don't use the oil, the filter won't be effective at catching dirt. manual comes with the recharge kit, so rtfm. any auto parts store will be able to tell you which filter to get for the stock airbox, might be different with your cai.
