I know its lt's or nothing, and i know someone will say don't waste time...but i got these at a meet and they were cheap(150). Got new gaskets, locker bolts for an additional 20 with the headers so i think it was a great deal. Anyway how did you go about doing it? I'm hoping i have enough room with just jacking the motor up 2inches on either side. Does the oil dipstick have to come out and is that easy? They are bbk shorties and bbk does not offer installation instructions for this particular header anymore on their website... I am just wondering because i've had these sitting around all winter and it's getting nicer out and i will be doing these within the next week or 2.

I would REALLYYY think twice before installing these headers, i wish i did, because the fitiment is so poor and they wound up leaking, and they were put on with the engine OUT of the car, they warped over 100 miles of driving and they are now being taken off for SLP Long Tubes, a quality product, i guess i was trying to save a few $'s get a few more HP while i had the motor out but i wound up screwing myself....just something to think about...

Where did they warp? I find that hard to beleive,a little over100 miles and they warped? I've never heard these headers were poor quality, anyone else hear/know anything about this?

remove, steering shaft, remove starter, remove factories (unbolt up top what you can), jack motor if need, shorties probly wont need it, the egr tube is the biggest PITA imo
