when my engine is fully warmed up and ive been running it hard for a bit. i am getting a bit of smoke at WOT, it only happens when i am way high up in my RPM range and back off the gas (above 5000). the engine still runs fine and pulls strong. Doesnt happen all the time tho. and its a bone stock engine, no tune/ CAI... stock mid-pipe.

color of the smoke: def not black (rich), more of a light blue/white/greyish. hard to tell.

Could be oil blowing piston rings since you are reving it so high when it does it. How many miles are on the car?

I'm betting pcv. I had the same problem the other day cause I was to lazy to put the catch can in and just wanted to drive the car after the new intake install. Once I put the catch can in today all smoke stopped.

2004 with 40,000 miles. i ws thinking it could be the valve seals. what would the PVC be doing?? and the fix for the PVC.
