Default MIL ELIMINATOR PROBLEMS

I have a 2002 gt with mac o/r h pie. I disconnected the neg. terminal, andattached the bbk mils to the rear o2 sensors. 25 miles later the cel comes back. i got the code read and it p0340 . cat efficiency below threshold bank 2. I called bbk and they told me to swap the mils around. Repeated the process above, and got the same result. code p0340. Does anyone think that the o2 sensor in bank 2 is bad? The car is only shooting one code, and its on the same side each time with different o2 sensors. Suggestions??? anything will help!! Thanks in advance!

IS it plugged in all the way ?? I had something similar happen, but that because I went cheap on the o2 sensors and bought the ones from boush. I brought them back and replaced the o2 with stock ones from a ford dealership and no codes came up. I know this sounds crazy, but I wonder if you have a bad o2, not the mil. If you have a handheld, turn off the rear o2 and see if the cell still comes on.

silver stang: i'm having the same problem. put em on, got the light back for p0430, swapped them, code came back. i have a small trans. leak that has dripped on the connector so i think that might have something to do with it but i wont find out till i drive around a little bit. I just used the compressor atmy shopto blow out the connector if there was fluid in it.It wouldnt be your o2 sensor because it's no longer connected to the system, although it may appear because the MIL has two plugs, one to connect to the o2 and one to connect to the carbut the ones that connect to the sensor are connected inside the heat shrink to absolutly nothing. Try this: completely remove the MIL from bank 2 (left side) and leave the connecter unplugged, dont hook anything up on the left side. zip tie it away from the exhaust and you should get P0160 Downstream Heated Oxygen Sensor circuit fault - Bank No. 2. or something like that. This will tell you if its just faulty wiring or something with your MIL.

About 6 or 7 years ago, I built a set of MIL's with about $5 in parts from radio shack. I found the instructions somewhere on the net. I never had a problem with them. Does someone have that link?
