Default Crazy TURBO Question

I have a random question about a Turbo setup.....

I have found someone selling a 16G Turbo and intercooler from an eclipse for very cheap.... does anyone have any clue or could anyone find out if its possible to mount that Turbo onto my Mustang anyway at all? Would that Turbo even work on my car??? I mean is the actual Turbo itself any different from any other Turbo?? I know its not like the most powerful Turbo but for the money figured its definitely worth it if there is anyway possible to make it work!

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

He's beating you over the head with a stick.

Maaan of course a turbo is a turbo but the a/r ratio etc are different, when the turbo starts to spool, etc.

Do a search here because you sound like an idiot asking those genenic questions.

it will probably work but your gonna need a custom piping ext... i also think the turbo is a little to small for our cars correct me if im wrong in know the most those make on GSX's was like 400HP and thats pushing the turbo to the limit

There is no way a 16G turbo is going to do anything worth doing on a 281 CI v8. Its built for a 2.0L 4 cylinder.

Not worth messing with.

maybe if you can get 2 of them it would be worth it, but not a single. that is still alittle small for a twin kit as well
