Battery Charging PROBLEMS!?
Well, after upgrading my intake system I started the car up with no problems. I let the car warm up to operating temp and all seemed well, car was working great. I then took the car for a test drive
and only about five mins in i noticed the power windows were slugish then the radio died. i took a look at my battery charge indacator and it was barely getting charge, then the car died. figuring at first it could have been the battery i bought a new and that died... so i bought a new alternator figuring that was the problem. at first i thought i had solved it, under normal idol the charge is good
but as soon as i use anything...... i mean anything the charge level drops and the car begins to stall.. if its not the alternator causing this what could it be. the Alt connections are good, im prety sure
i got all the engine wires back on right. could fuses cause this or maybe the starter.. plz help thx

RE: Battery Charging PROBLEMS!?
the only thing i could possibly think of is maybe your belt might be slipping...i doubt it but just check...i've read a few forums where the battery wasn't charging because of the belt slipping

RE: Battery Charging PROBLEMS!?
Check your battery cables. I had a similar problem with my 2002 GT. Positive cable was corroded inside near the battery connector. I cut off the corroded part and replaced the connector. This took care of the problem. I would guess that either or both of the cables have problems.
