im guna be getting either the slp loudmouth 1 or 2 catbackbut i have a few questions:

1. which one is louder, comments on the 2 say its not that loud, i want a noticable increase on my car

2. if i took it to the dealership i bought the car at would they say they could do it (is it legal?)

3. would this void a warranty (cuz i got one when i bought the car used)??

thank you very much this is guna help me out a lot as for what to buy

LM1's are louder and raspier, LM2's are still loud but have a deeper throatier tone.

You can't f*ck with the catalytic converters or exhaust manifolds. About the only thing you can do is cat-back in that situation.

Eh... do a catted midpipe. That shouldn't void a warranty should it?

No and not much. CAI really onl changes the sound a bit and MAYBE gets you 1-2 HP on a NA car.

I've got the LM II's on a cat'd H-pipe and I love the sound.. at WOT it screams so loud the rearview mirror shakes.. lol I couldn't tell you if it would void your warranty or not since the warranty is only for drivetrain, but I wouldn't think that just an aftermarket exhaust would do that though..

i agree 100% with 03GTVERT

ive got the lm1's and love them. something you should consider that goes well them them is the mac o/r prochamber.

dont take it to the dealer. all they want is your money. damn near any shop will do a catback install that is if you dont do it yourself.

ive taken my car to the dealer where i bought my car and ive got the exhaust and 4.10 gears installed and nobody said a word to be about it voiding my warranty.

ya i also wanted to get 4.10 gears also im guna check with the dealership to see if it voids the warrnaty. i looked online and i wus curious cuz it said 4,10s for 189.00. but do i only need to buy one or do u need multiple. i dont nkow much about them. dont u have to get them tuned properly also? do they do that wen they install the gears?
