Idle proplem?

Idle proplem?
I've tried to fix the problem once by installing a new idle control valve cause thats what i was told by a shop that it was. i dont think it is. if it is what is causeing them to go out i put the new one in 2 months ago. so the problem im havin is that my idle will drop to around 700-500 n stay there. or sometime i would have to start it on the gas n rev it up to about 2000 for a min then it would stay idling at but still low. after a while this will stop but it comes n goes when it wants. any ideas

O2 sensors that are on their way out will do goofy things like such without ever turning on your check engine light.
But since you are having trouble starting the car, you should start with your fuel filter first.

thx bro. so start with the fuel filter then change the o2 sensors if still a problem. is that fitler in the tank? hope to get good quick info from u like this in the near future. thx alot Dan04COBRA
