Where exactly is the power window motor located?

Where exactly is the power window motor located?
Pulled the door panel off, not seeing it. Is it farther down the speaker area? There's a black piece of covering that's glued to the door beneath the panel.. should I remove that too?

It looks like the motor is behind the metal to the left of the speaker. Holy hell how do you get to it? Do I need to work from inside the hole after I remove the speaker? lol.
