ok so me and a buddy just replaced the tranny im my 2001 bullit as well we did the clutch with it alsoi put in a fidanza 2.1 stage 1 clutch.


now heres the problem.


when i slowly let off the clutch to engage to first gear i hear a knocking sound down underneath my car which sounds like its coming from clutch/belhousing are only happens when i release the clutch and happens randomly not every time. any ideas? and i think ive heard it mid shift to other gears just cant be sure.

Could be a tranny crossmember. Check that, could be loose and whenever you shift or apply a load to the motor, the torque of the motor kinda shifts the tranny a bit. Not sure though.
