blower belt shedding
got a vortech v-2 strip on 01 cobra. the belt keeps ripping i had a shop "fix" the problem but didn't. I don't know if the pulleys aren't alligned. It doesnt rip all the way just one grove or rib keeps trying to shread itself off. Put in a brand new belt and 3 days later it started to shread. 6rib pulleys. someone help! Also my service engine soon light comes on when i floor it and the code said something about by injectors being too big or something like that wondering if you guys had same problems?

RE: blower belt shedding
Do you have an adjustable tensioner? I wonder if you have too much tension on the belt, which may cause premature failure, but not only one groove. Go through all your pullies and see if one has a bad bearing or is wobbling excessively and if so then replace that problem pulley, otherwise it's a good excuse to go to an 8-rib setup. What size pulley are you using to make 12 psi on 4v heads?
