Default UNBOLTING THE EXHAUST?

hey guys i have an 02 gt... it has the stock h pipe with just welded in flow 40's.... if i unbolt the mufflers from the h pipe will i lose power? it sounds alot better until i get my SLP

You may. I actually just replaced mine. I just had the stock h and no mufflers. The car seems to run better with the bbk catted x pipe and flowmasters. It sound alot better. It did sound good with the stock h just not at idle. I will have a sound clip with the new setup tomorrow. Ive been lazy since i did the exhaust saturday. I will a couple clips and a lot of pics of the install.

Not a good idea at all. You will lose power and torque most likely. I will also sound like ****. Keep the mufflers on until you replace em

^ he said "if i unbolt the mufflers from the h-pipe" So i dont think there in the h pipe. He prob just means the stock cat back with the welded in flowmasters.
