It's not as hard of an install as everyone makes it out to be, I did mine without droping the K member in about 5 hours, if you jack up the motor some you can get to the top bolts from the top, and the rest is Cake.

^^^ yeah ok..doubt that... (5 hrs and cake)...if your a good and know what your doing maybe..
but for un exp. people...takes longer than 5

acually it can be a pain in the ***** if you dont have much mechanical experience....just MAKE SURE when installing header bolts you dont cross thread them...could get ugly if u do...

It would probably be somewhat cakelike if you are skinny as a rail and limber as a snake. For me it was hell trying to get my hands in such a small space so dropping the kmember was a better option.

stangman08 if you've never installed headers, give yourself at least a full weekend and bring some neosporin for your scarred up hands if you are planning to raise the engine to put in the headers. I've done it both ways. Trust me dropping the kmember is the much better option.

I have never installed headers on a 2v before done them on a 2001 BMW M3 and a LT1 motorbut thats it there easy to do, but I guess having a lift and a shop full of tools helps out alot.

to me it was better to pay someone. most shops charge $500+ 8hours of labor but a local shop was running specialsand charged $250 so it was worth it. lol
