Default Gear selection

I have an 03 gt 5 speed and it has a 3.55 in it now because it was in it when I bought it, I was wondering how much difference would it be if I put a 3.73 or a 4.10. A big concern is gas mileage I get about 24 mpg on the highway now how much would it set me back if i went with a gear.

Default RE: Gear selection

go to the tech articles page they have an entire page about gears and the difference, etc. but in short you will see a diff. w/ the 4.10's and it should only affect your gas mileage 1-2mpg on the highway at over 60mph. As I said the link will have more info. Its under tech and how to's link
