Default Hi flow CATS

Anyone have problem passing emissions in Dallas running Hi flow CATS? About to be running twin turbos, X-Pipe into Hi flow CATS, 3" all the way back. Hoping not to have any emissions problems.

Do they still do the sniffer test on your car? Here in MA they stopped the sniffer test on OBDII vehicles.

Yes, they still do the sniffer test when you have the emission test done in Texas.

Good luck passing the sniff test with an aftermarket catted pipe. They don't clean up the exhaust nearly as much as the stock 4 cats. Thats why people often throw catalyst codes from their MILs even with catted mids.
If you really want to be safe for the inspection, just keep your stock pipe and swap it before the test.

Thanks for the info. The only problem is that the new system will be 3" all the way from the headers back. I guess I could rig up a bolt incollector style adapter to downsize to the 2.5" and then back up to the 3" on the other side???? Maybe???
