ADVICE FOR 4.6

RE: ADVICE FOR 4.6
Get a compression test with those kinds of miles, then if everything is straight, have at 'er with some F/I if you've got the cajones. I'd still be worried without rebuilding that motor.

If you're going nitrous, check out Venom 1000V series. They don't need a window switch, they come with a device that does it already. You can always get your heads and intake ported!!!!

RE: ADVICE FOR 4.6
everyone is always saying dont do this if your mileage is this, ya know it really dont matter if you have 100k or only 20k, if you drive it like you stole every day than its only gonna last so long anyway, put the juice on it as soon as possible at least a 75 shot!!

You cant beat the bang for the buck of a wet nitrous kit. I have 2 stages both have 100 in them on a 2000 GT with a stock engine and have been running that way for 2 yrs now.I put a 125 wet kit on afriends car a few months agothat had 138,000 on it and he hasn't had any problems as of yet,and he uses atleast a bottle a week! The best thing is a Cold Fusion Kit is only about $450 and will support up to 200hp. Just my 2 cents and some testimonial NITROUS is the best bolt on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What no one seems to have asked is:
How much do you want to spend?
Cheapest that you're going to make any significant change (meaning more than 40-50HP) is going to be n2o... but it can be hard on the internals because when it hits, it hits all at once like a hammer and it can be more expensive in the long run as you have to keep filling the bottle... and they're not legal to use on the streets. Big ticket if you get caught with it enabled on the streets.
Cost: about $500-$1000 (approx, depending on features and setup)
Other than this, you're looking at a supercharger... a LOT more power... a LOT more money. Starts at about $3k for a used setup and goes up from there.
Also remember that too much more power and you'll be needing a new bottom end.
Good luck.
