Default odd back of tires....

i bought some 17x10.5 95 cobra r's from AM and the back fo the rim seems wrong.. better to show ya.
as you can see they is a different ... style.
can i run these or do i need different rims?

they look like the same to me i think all that matters is that the lug pattern is the same

it just looks like a smaller contact area on the newer one, but im pretty sure they wil still work as long as the bolt patern is right and everything

ill agree it is hard to tell, the entire back of the rim does not make contact with the side of my brake rotor... does that makes sence...
the old tire had metal on the outside of the lug pattern, the new one has splits.
first it looks like ****, second under a hard corner i feel it would put more stress on the rim.

You should be ok. It looks like the manufacture was getting rid of some weight to the wheel.
