Default Power curve question

The cams in my sig claim to deliver power form 1800rpm to 5800rpm. When i drive itdon't seem to make power until 3000rpms and when i was dyno tuned the power did not level off until 6300rpms. My question is why does it not drop off at 5800 but at 6300? Does it have anyting to do with having supporting mods like headers, ported heads, plenum, TB ext.? And if that is the reason why, would a aftermarket intake manifod like the p-51 or the 4.6 efi victor jr. help raise the 6300 rpm power limit? I wonder if im just maxing out the breathing capabilty of the stock pi intake? Anylight on the issuewould be a great help

Your cams are fairly decent size, and any aftermarket cam is going to deliver power past 6000 RPM fairly easily. Having the supportig mods is only helping out.

So far as down low, its the nature ofa 4.6L to not make massive TQ/HP down low.
