i disagree, the stock pump can handle what the stock tank can handle, your best bet is an inline boost a pump from kb or vortech etc... esp because of how our cars fuel pumps work

if you really want to swap your intake pump, go w. the svt focus one, seems to be a common choice

Svt focus FTW, and IMO the stock pump is garbage. With anything other than bolt ons you should consider replacing it.

Are boost a pumps just as good as the in tank replacements? this would make the install alot easier to do instead of having to drop the tank

They compliment a pump, but are far froma replacement! In a returnless system it would be wise to upgrade the pump and add a BAP

The SVT Focus pump is good for a solid 400rwhpish. Thats where Im at and its pulling all the fuel it possibly can.

Plenty of people run the stock pump with a BAP at 400RWHP.

I'm about to swap my blower for a KB at 14psi which should get me up near 500RWHP and I'm going to put in both the SVT Focus pump and the BAP. To go beyond this I'm going to have to go to a cobra tank and Ford GT pumps or something similarly radical.
