if you have a warranty, anything you do the car will prob cancel it out cuz, if something happens, and the dealership sees ANYTHING aftermarket, they are going to blame it on that and you are out. just start putting money in now, or just save until your warranty is over and then drop everything. you can collect all the stuff you want over time and then when the warranty is over, just dump everything in and it will feel like a totally different car.

not true. Their is an act I think called the Magnusson-Moss (sp?) act that protects us. If your power windows go out they can't say that an air filter caused it, however, if it is something they can try to link to the mods they will. If you're tranny goes out and you have an aftermarket shifter (even though it's better/ safer than stock) they will blame it on the shifter, but if that same car comes into the shop and the a/c isn't working they can't prove that a shifter caused the problem.

but he if he does a CIA they could say that he was putting to much air into whatever part and that is why it broke... i may be wrong, but just know that they will try to get out of the warranty anyway possible and will try to link any aftermarket things you have put into your car as being the reason why it doesn't work.
