I wasn't disputing your post. If so I'd have been my usual smart@$$ self and said something afterwards<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">. It actually looks like a VERY CLEAN Supra.

Its a supra. But the point of my post was how much would a new clutch cost? but if you wanna jump to the topic of Supras. Last night i went to friends house that broke some sort of record for imports running a 9.7 with his 835HP Supra. and making poor Saad Saad #2 in the state even though he's pulling 1050 HP @ the wheels <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0"> uhmm.. back to the Mustang. With 150k miles on the car, was it worth buying it for $5k? 94 GT 5spd manual. K&N airfilters and minor mods. actually could someone tell me the HP for a stock 94 GT?

BTW thx GSXR for the info<edited><editID>Syndicate</editID><editDate>37908.9175810185</editDate></edited>

Whether or not it's worth $5k depends on if you plan on working on it a lot in the near future, and also if you like to do the work yourself. It's not hard mostly, just time-consuming, as long as you're somewhat mechanically inclined. 150k is a lot of miles, and unless the engine has been rebuilt, it could be near the end of it's first life. But you wanted a project right???</P>

Stock horsepower is 215 @ 4200, torque is 285 @ 3400. Replacing the clutch is a snap, as long as you have enough spare time to do it. Just get a Haynes manual or similar, crank up the radio, and count on spending a day or 2, depending on how busy you are, underneath your car. You'll have to drop your mid-pipe and cat-back, the driveshaft, and the transmission to get to the clutch. A good aftermarket clutch will run you anywhere from $200 - $500, depending on how much grip you want. Good luck!</P>

I have alot of experience with my old 302 5.0 with less mileage than the 94 stang and i still have it in my backyard actually. But since now i just got out of the army i want a new car. and with the money later on in the future i no longer want it to have the stock 215 horses. Thankyou so much for the info and the luck. the car is a manual and its alot of fun. For a project later on i already have a 390 rebuilt to a 427 and i want to integrate that some how into the 94 stang. get it fuel injected even hehehe thanks
