Default PI Heads off of what car???

What cars come with PI heads, so I can just take them off of? And also what else is needed besides the complete head? Should I use the Cams that come with the PI heads? My search function dosent work for some reason.

I believe the P.I heads need also P.I manifold and the cams you need the ones that come with the head. I am not sure.

you need the heads/cams from a 99-04 GT. Those are considered "PI" heads

well for the heads as far as i know you need the gasket..... ha dont know what else but there is a stiky that shows how to do a P.I intake manifold swap soyou can see what else are you going to need, IMO I think it is a money well spend for performance.

https://mustangforums.com/m_3833004/tm.htm

that is the link for the PI Intake Swap. as for the heads you are going to need gaskets and what not. ford sells a whole setup for changing the heads so you can go there. if i were you i would get the heads ported and polished before getting them put on so you don't have to change it later. just save up some more and do it right the first time instead of doing it partly right but then wanting it faster and dumping more money.

no those are not PI HEADS
PI HEADS came only on 99 and early 2000 mustangs and on some saleens and roush's
And cams dont make heads "PI" Its the heads that are "PI" nothing else
Also u can use any cams for that head the only thing ull probably have to change is the valve springs

http://www.steeda.com/products/4.6L_...anging_kit.php

there is the link to a head changing kit from steeda. also as stated above, he is right BUT if you get PI heads you need to get a PI intake as well

You my friend are completely crazy. ALL 99-04 mustangs have PI heads, cams and intakes. 99-mid 01 have windsor style pi heads where late 01-04 have romeo style PI heads. To make the pi swap easier try to get a set of late 01-04 pi heads cams and intake so you don't have to get new valve covers or a new timing case cover. Just get a head change kit and a pi water coolant tube that runs under the pi intake instead of around the old one on npi cars.
