Well I just bought my Mach 1and first of all I have to say that I am very pleased with the power compared to a Gt! It's currently in storage right now but Idecided to take it for a little run.I was in first at about 3k rpm, hit the gas, and spun through all of 1st and 2nd. Now my question is will I notice a big difference upgrading to a better tire?

I am debating whether to just put them on the back or all fours. Or even putting bfgoodrich 245's on front and 275's on back just to match the treads. What do you all think?

If I had the money I'd put g-Force™ T/A® KDW on all fours...in the sizes you said. Actually, I'd probably do like 295 in back, but that's just me....depends on the sixe of your wheels...are they stock wheels?

yea they are stock. I wanted to go to 18" rims but I heard it slows down the car. Would it make sense to get 275 all around?

Hek naw- you need atleast 295 i the rear of that Mach. Go with 17x10.5 and run 305 or 315 if you must run a 17" wheel.

If you can drive 275s will be fine...

My Cobra is making the same RWHP as your car, and ride on 275/40s...it will spin a little bit of first if you launch too hard, but grabs second. I cut 2.00 60's all day with them no problem.. I think I could dip into the 1.9s

oh and my car had thoes t/a's on it when i bought it and i had traction problems in 3rd on 275's.
but i am making a little more power than you.. not enough to make that big of a diff thoe. just a thought.
