A few guys on here have been brave enough to do it themselves, but I don't think there are any writeups.

72mach99gt (or something like that) had his heads off for awhile so maybe try him. He may be able to help you.

I have a chiltons manual, but this is the first time I do engine work (I'm only 16, give me a break) but I honestly feel that I can do it looking at the chiltons with all of the pictures and stuff. I would be making sure to have atleast 4-5 days of downtime just incase for intermittent reasearch etc.

Yeah, I mean obviously it is head work so it's not "easy" but I mean it does look like something that could be accomplished with the right procedure/information/tools etc.

p.s. nice cobra!

That's why I'm trying to gather information right now, scouring the internet so I know what I'm getting into before I do it. (I haven't even bought the cams yet!).

Trying to get Stage 2s + new valvesprings right now. Also looking to get a midpipe with 2.5 all the way back, already did silencer w/ K&N and pullies. Hopefully later if I save enough by summer some 3.73's.
