A few guys on here have been brave enough to do it themselves, but I don't think there are any writeups.
72mach99gt (or something like that) had his heads off for awhile so maybe try him. He may be able to help you.

I have a chiltons manual, but this is the first time I do engine work (I'm only 16, give me a break) but I honestly feel that I can do it looking at the chiltons with all of the pictures and stuff. I would be making sure to have atleast 4-5 days of downtime just incase for intermittent reasearch etc.

honestly dude it may look easy but being real u always run into some sorta prob or w/e and once u get into it u pretty much gotta finish it unless u can get a mechanic to come to ur place just incase something goes wrong...when i do mine im prolly takin it somewhere..i do have 4 cams which makes it alittle tougher but ya man i would see bout havin someone do it...i just turned 18 by the way so i kno how u feel im still in highschool too

Yeah, I mean obviously it is head work so it's not "easy" but I mean it does look like something that could be accomplished with the right procedure/information/tools etc.

Trying to get Stage 2s + new valvesprings right now. Also looking to get a midpipe with 2.5 all the way back, already did silencer w/ K&N and pullies. Hopefully later if I save enough by summer some 3.73's.
