coolant is leaking from somewhere around my water pump. ive heard that this means it is going out. any ideas????

most likely, there is a seal in the water pump, and as this seal degrades water begins to pass through. there is a built "weep hole" that this water excapes through, like a early warning sign.Not too terribly expensivepart and weekends worth of work to fix. dont forget the new coolant and pump gasket.
