Default 97 GT exhaust?

OK heres the deal, im looking for the best exhaust for the best budget...I have been thinking about doin BBK LT headers and catted H-pipe but I want something i only have to do once and it'll last a while like ceremic coated or S/S Like originally I was gonna go with Magnaflow X-pipe(catted) and Magnapack Catback, but its really pricey and for shorties and/ or stock mani's anyone suggest anything else I live in Maryland so we all know about Emissions/ inspection in MD[:@]but I have also thought of running O/R mid pipes in that case i been thinking Mac with thier LTs and Prochamber mid and heard manapack on that should sound decent, current mods below

I run the OR prochamber to magnapacks and I love the sound... keeps it nice and low and doesn't break up in the higher RPM's.

i think that'll be your best bet. Although I did not buy the SS version, but I'm not that worried about rust here in VA.

Thats the set up i was thinking about Pro into Magnapack, my friend has a 04 with magnapack and magnaflow x pipe but i just like the o/r mac pro chamber sound any suggestions where to get them for decent price??? Since VA isnt to far from where i live in MD

stock manifolds. BUT the headers actually tone the noise down a little bit because the flow is much more direct and doesn't resonate as much... it's wierd but thats what my ears/brain tell me.

if you have the money for LT's then get them... but I suggest a PI swap as well (sure you've heard that a million times)

the gain is minimal... but it will really help for future mods i.e. supercharger.

Your welcome. Just trying to help in your search for exhaust. Its tough to finally make a decission. Especially since it cost money.
