97 GT exhaust?
OK heres the deal, im looking for the best exhaust for the best budget...I have been thinking about doin BBK LT headers and catted H-pipe but I want something i only have to do once and it'll last a while like ceremic coated or S/S Like originally I was gonna go with Magnaflow X-pipe(catted) and Magnapack Catback, but its really pricey and for shorties and/ or stock mani's anyone suggest anything else I live in Maryland so we all know about Emissions/ inspection in MD[:@]but I have also thought of running O/R mid pipes in that case i been thinking Mac with thier LTs and Prochamber mid and heard manapack on that should sound decent, current mods below

RE: 97 GT exhaust?
I run the OR prochamber to magnapacks and I love the sound... keeps it nice and low and doesn't break up in the higher RPM's.
i think that'll be your best bet. Although I did not buy the SS version, but I'm not that worried about rust here in VA.

Thats the set up i was thinking about Pro into Magnapack, my friend has a 04 with magnapack and magnaflow x pipe but i just like the o/r mac pro chamber sound any suggestions where to get them for decent price??? Since VA isnt to far from where i live in MD

RE: 97 GT exhaust?
if you have the money for LT's then get them... but I suggest a PI swap as well (sure you've heard that a million times)
the gain is minimal... but it will really help for future mods i.e. supercharger.

yea i know everything is $$$ in the auto world thank goodness i do most of my own work, I noticed you have flowmasters, i love the sound my friendjust got a 97 cobra for 11500 with 21000 miles in mint condition[:-]i was like damn, and hes a junior in high school but he has a bbk xpipe(catted) and flowmaster 40s, and i wasn't to happy about them but it was decent, maybe he has 50s i dunno but it had a growling idle but when he took off it was kinda well droaning but not rumbleing like my friend who has a 66 with a 302 and flows 40s
