Hello All,


Newb here and just got my first Stang last weekend and noticed it making a sound like a "Psst" or air solenoid popping off and on under hood it does this constantly even when driving down road....it changes the idle rpms very slightly( maybe and extra 50 rpm not much i can tell from tach gauge).[sm=helpout.gif]

It has mods that i can tell as followed: BBK CAI, Flowmaster exhuast, dont know if has diff down tube?? it has cat converts on it, dont know if it has any other visble or tuning mods done to it lady didnt know for sure...was her sons..in army wont be back for long time.

turn off ac/defroster and see if noise goes away. could be the normal operating sound of the ac compressor cycling

Thats normal AC defrost heat operation my friend.......LOL at first when i was reading this i was thinking you had a turbo with a blow off valve installed and you didnt know it, NOW that would have been crazy but yet cool!!!![sm=crossbonesgif.gif]

glad to help, this sound is normal, just as long as when the compressor is engaged and spinning you dont hear any hammering noises coming from it.
