ever heard of limp mode? makes you run rich to prevent possible detonation (running lean). your car will run like *** and drink gas like nobody's business but theres no immiedate danger of blowing your motor.

It is possible to blow the engine by running too rich, and I think someone even mentioned washing out the rings.. There's a good reason that tuning is a great idea, before you really drive the hell out of your car... It is much more likely to destroy your engine by running too lean, but it is still possible to trash an engine by running too rich.. I just can't remember what the first thing to go is... Too much booze last night..

yea, thats true... i forgot about that.. it is in limp mode since i have 5 codes reading right now. one for both cats missing. no iat sensor, egr code, and a code for the maf being messed up? probably cuz of the egr missing...
