need more hp PLEASE HELP
Looking for some help from you guys I have about $4k to spend on performance and I don’t know what route is best to take. One involves a 4v cobra motor swap (99 cobra motor with @40k miles for about $3500 installed) and the other is opening the engine and working on it. I have a 98gt with about 55k miles on it and it runs well. I was talking with a guy on the phone today and he was saying he was currently building a 98gt motor that would be around 435hp NA and support about 1500hp for about $6500. I don’t want a supercharger yet, this is a toy car that doesn’t come out much, I like the bends and hit the ¼ mile track every once in a while. What are your opinions on what route I should take?
Thanks for your thoughts.

i still have a non pi motor, as far as upgrades i have pretty much full boltons, tubular kmember, aarms, coilovers, high flow cats on a custom exhaust, shift kit, 3.73's, big brake kit, steeda ultralite wheels w/nitto 555's, diablo tuner, and probaly some other little stuff a forgot about, i still need to do the rear end stuff. im kind of leaning toward boreing, stroking and forgeing the the engine soi dont have a engine laying around that i have to do something with, and id imagine a sc would love that worked motor!! as far as the nx, to impractical, im not at the strip that much (maybe later)

Oh and I forgot to mention, you can gain close to 70-80 rwhp doing a pi swap for less than half the price of a 4v swap.

thats seams to be a little optimistic for a pi swap, isn't it?
