Has anyone had a problem after instaling the doran replacment manifold? I think mine is leaking coolant into the cylinders (1998 4.6)

Not sure what kind mine is as I got it off ebay, but it leaked coolant into the rear pass. side cylinder, didnt know about it, and when to start it up after sitting for a few days, snapped the connecting rod right in half since the cylinder could not compress the coolant. My block also has a crack in it tho, so who knows. Easiest way to check is remove the plugs, and rotate the engine by hand with a socket on the crank pulley, look in the cylinders with a flashlight and if theres coolant you'll be able to tell.

if done right it shouldn't i had mine replaced on my car and i didn't have any problems with it afterwards. it's better just to switch to PI intake instead of paying $200+ for dorman replacement.

you would have to have a heater hose off of a 99 GT PI heads, cam, intake, and possibly valve covers.

i don't think that you can mix PI & non-PI parts!
