Default lash adjusters

can the hydraulic lash adjusters be reused when rebuilding an engine or should they be replaced?

Default RE: lash adjusters

From the wisdom that was bestowed on me a while back, if you keep your cams, keep your HLAs, and most of the hardware, and associate it with the same exact cylinder that it came from.. Personal opinion: If you've already taken the time to tear down the engine and get everything apart, don't skimp, and get some new ones.. You'll be happy you did, in the event one collapses and you have to get back into the engine to start replacing things...
