i don't think it would cost too much more to have it done for you. i really think that stick-welding on that thin of metal will **** up your unibody. i'd bolt it in like they say or MIG it in. sorry to mess your plans. just remember that it's gonna be there for a REALLLY long time, esp. if you weld it in.
