OK guys, I need your help. My license plate light cover thing broke. I bought a new one at Ford today, but cannot seem to get the old one off. The screw keeps on turning, even when I am holding the plastic piece from behind. Can you guys offer some assistance on removing the old one.

Had the same issue on my 04 GT. Just take a pair of needlenose pliers and gently pull the screw out as it really does not thread into the trunk lid. Hope this helps.
