Default Off Road X-pipe- O2 sensor question.

If I put a Bassani Off Road X pipe on my '98 Cobra, and it has the holes for the O2 sensors, will it throw a check engine light, ordoes the light go on only if you disconnect them all together?

the CEL will come on... you need MIL eliminators (which don't work all the time so its a stupid gamble) or a tuner like the predator or XCal

+1 the MILs. Mine work perfectly fine. Just make sure they are not sitting on the exhaust or they will melt. I just duct taped mine to the body and called it a day.

Or.... you could make your own MIL's with spark plug foulers. It takes 30 minutes and is only about 10-15$.

Yea, you can't even buy MIL elims anymore, EPA made companys stop selling them. So your options are to make your own or get a tuner
